LASERS DENTISTRY

LIGHT AMPLIFICATION BY STIMULATED EMISSION OF RADIATION

We believe in technology. And we provide the best technology available in the world for our patients. The latest trend in dentistry is the use of lasers. However it's a very common thing to read lasers, but very few we guess can have a debate on what is the use of lasers in dentistry.

DR. JAY MEHTA WITH DR. MORITZ (PRESIDENT OF INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF ORAL LASERS)

LASERS have multiple applications in a variety of fields including medical and have evolved to a role in dentistry too. In 1987 FDA (Food And Drug Administration; ) of USA approved a prototype of Laser to study on dental patients

We use lasers in many of the dental treatments like

Decay removal from the tooth.(drill less filling) http://www.dentalcare-indiatour.com/images/laser.jpg
Tooth whitening.
Periodontal problems.(gum diseases)
Any minor soft tissue surgical procedures.

A laser is a high tech devise that generates a tiny beam of very concentrated light. This beam of light brings energy into your mouth through a tiny fiber, to help remove areas of infection and remove gum disease around the teeth with great precision and accuracy. The dental laser offers little to no bleeding, swelling, infection or post-operative discomfort and also eliminates the need for most sutures (stitches). We find the dental laser to be very effective in increasing the quality of our dental care.

  Are Lasers Dangerous?

In the hands of a skilled and specially trained dental surgeon, lasers are very safe. Actually the primary safety factor used during laser treatment is proper protective eyewear. Dental lasers are very low powered, which is essential for treating the delicate tissues of the mouth
